Showtime has hired writer David S. Goyer to adapt the DC Comics/Vertigo Comics title 100 Bullets for the small screen.

DC Comics printed 100 issues of 100 Bullets, which was created by Brian Azzarello, between 1999 and 2009. The story centers on a man known only as Agent Graves, whose lifelong mission is to destroy a secret society of families known as The Trust, who control a vast majority of the world's wealth. The story starts out with Graves handing out a gun and 100 untraceable bullets to those who have been wronged, so they can exact their revenge without being caught. As the story develops, it becomes clear that everyone in this world is connected somehow.

100 Bullets will be produced through Warner Bros. TV, with David S. Goyer writing the pilot script and executive producing. The comic book series won both the Eisner and Harvey awards during its prestigious run.

No production schedule was given for the 100 Bullets pilot.
