The 300: Rise of an Empire companion book 300: Rise of an Empire: The Art of the Film has provided us with a new image from director Noam Murro's follow-up to director Zack Snyder's 2006 hit 300. This tie-in delves into the story and art of the film, which revolves around General Themistocles who leads Athens in a battle against Persian invaders in a fight that ran simultaneously with the Battle of Thermopylae, as seen in the first film. Check out the book's cover art, which features a Forward by Noam Murro and an Afterward by Zack Snyder. Peter Aperlo is the credited writer of the book itself.
