According to The Hollywood Reporter, The terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, have led to the release of more than a dozen DVDs that have memorialized, criticized and examined the events of that day.

Probably the best-selling Sept. 11 documentary was Gedeon and Jules Naudet's 9/11: The Filmmakers' Commemorative DVD Edition, which has the only footage of the first plane to hit the World Trade Center, followed closely in sales by Garfield Kennedy and Larry Klein's Why the Towers Fell: An Exclusive Investigation Into the Collapse of the World Trade Center, produced for public television. This year, a newly released DVD on the subject, titled 911 in Plane Site, is selling briskly on the Internet.
