The network says the stoppage is to "boost the writing."

In a story from Variety, ABC has halted production on FlashForward.

The work stoppage began last week and will be maintained over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Shooting will resume again on Monday with episode 13.

According to an ABC spokesperson, the stoppage was all part of the schedule from the

beginning of the season in order to "boost the writing. They want to maintain the high quality of the show, and this gives the writers the opportunity to do so."

FlashForward stars Joseph Fiennes and Sonya Walger.

I hope this doesn't turn into Heroes. My reason: Heroes, to me, was a great show for the first two seasons. Then the show trailed off by the third episode of season three and every episode ended with a cliffhanger with "to be continued" stamped at the bottom.

I don't want this show to be slow in it's storyline because I don't know what to expect for the rest of the season.

I like this show but it does need to give a little more of the "why and how".

Bored of this show already. It simply doesn't cut the mustard with me.

I'm not bored with it and I still enjoy every moment.

Yeah that does seem a little suspect. Although as much as I enjoy the show it is sometimes very slow and methodical. They need to get it in gear before the audience gets bored.
