Mary Elizabeth Winstead has won the role of Mary Todd in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, contrary to a report from Monday that indicated Robin McLeavy had won the role.

Mary Todd is the wife of 16th President Abraham Lincoln (Benjamin Walker), who looks after his law firm and children while he roams the night, seeking the vampires who killed his mother. Both Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Robin McLeavy were the two finalists for the Mary Todd role.

Timur Bekmambetov will direct Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, who adapted his own novel of the same name.

No production schedule was released for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, although a June 22, 2012 release date has already been set.
