Fresh off his Oscar win for scoring The Social Network, Trent Reznor has come aboard Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter for director Timur Bekmambetov.

It seems Trent Reznor will be pulling double duty on the project, both providing the score and acting. He will portray the vampire that kills Abraham Lincoln's mother. The story centers on our fifteenth president (Benjamin Walker), who seeks to slay all vampires under the cover of night while also holding down his seat in the oval office.

Timur Bekmambetov will direct from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, who adapted his own novel of the same name. Production is slated to begin this month, although an exact start date is not known.

Trent Reznor shared his Best Original Score Oscar with Atticus Ross. It isn't clear yet if Ross will contribute to the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter score yet.
