Actress Robin McLeavy has signed onto play Mary Todd in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter for 20th Century Fox. The Australian actress beat out Mary Elizabeth Winstead for the role of Abraham Lincoln's (Benjamin Walker) wife.

Seth Grahame-Smith is adapting his own novel for this new adventure, which centers around the 16th President who, by night, hunts down and slays vampires. While Lincoln is out on his vampire hunting conquests, Mary Todd stays behind to tend to the family and help with Abraham's law firm.

We reported last week that Anthony Mackie and Dominic Cooper have joined the project, with Anthony Mackie playing Will, the President's best friend, and Dominic Cooper playing Henry, his mentor and trainer.

Timur Bekmambetov will direct Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, although it isn't clear when production will start.
