An unassuming teacher is bestowed with an incredible gift by a group of aliens in the U.K trailer for Absolutely Anything. While we still don't know when this comedy will be released in the U.S., it will hit theaters on August 14 in the U.K. Sadly, Absolutely Anything will be one of Robin Williams' last two films, after the actor passed away last August. The other project, Boulevard, will be released in theaters July 17 through Starz Digital Media.

Absolutely Anything follows a disillusioned school teacher (Simon Pegg) who suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes, a challenge bestowed upon him by a group of power-crazed aliens (voiced by Monty Python members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin & Eric Idle), watching him from space. As he struggles to deal with these new found powers and the events that subsequently arise, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams) to help him along the way. Mishap after mishap finally leads him to the ultimate conundrum that all men dread and at which many have failed....should he choose the girl....or the dog....?

The supporting cast is rounded out by Kate Beckinsale, Eddie Izzard, Joanna Lumley and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Terry Jones is directing from a screenplay by Gavin Scott. Check out the first trailer below, and stay tuned to find out when Absolutely Anything will hit theaters in the U.S.
