A&E Cancels ‘The Cleaner’

The A&E Network is saying goodbye to the show that marked its return to scripted TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the A&E network has canceled its scripted drama series The Cleaner.

The series, which stars Benjamin Bratt and premiered in July 2008, was the network's first original scripted series in six years. The show recently completed its 13-episode second season this month.

A&E's only other recent scripted series, The Beast, was canceled earlier this year after just one season.

I'm very bummed The Cleaner is not going to be showing in 2010 :( It was one of my favorite shows to watch.
