Back in August, Marvel's Agent Carter executive producer Tara Butters confirmed that the main villain in Season 2 will be Whitney Frost, a.k.a. Madame Masque, although the character had not been cast at the time. Today, Entertainment Weekly reveals that Wynn Everett has signed on to play the villain, with Currie Graham, Lotte Verbeek and Reggie Austin also joining the cast. Here's what executive producers Tara Butters, Chris Dingess and Michele Fazekas had to say about the casting in a joint statement.

"Whitney Frost is a character with a storied history in the Marvel comics, and we're excited to get the opportunity to introduce her to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Inspired by Hollywood icons like Hedy Lamarr and Lauren Bacall, we knew we needed an actor who was classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent. Wynn is both, and we're thrilled to watch her bring this formidable character to life."

The site also confirms that Dominic Cooper and Bridget Regan will reprise their roles from Season 1 as Howard Stark and Dottie Underwood. Howard Stark is the father of Tony Stark, while Dottie Underwood is a villain who came up through the Black Widow program. Currie Graham is set to play Frost's husband, Calvin Chadwick, described as "a high-powered businessman." Here's what the executive producers had to say about Calvin Chadwick.

"We knew we needed an actor versatile enough to go head-to-head with both Hayley (Atwell) and Wynn, and Currie Graham is one of those actors who can truly do anything. He brings a grounded, human quality to Calvin Chadwick, a complex character who lives at the center of Season 2's intrigue."

Also returning alongside Hayley Atwell are Chad Michael Murray (Jack Thompson), Enver Gjokaj (Daniel Sousa) and James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) in Agent Carter Season 2. Lyndsy Fonseca, who portrayed Angie Martinelli in the first season, could still potentially return, but nothing has been confirmed yet. The actress recently signed on to guest star in the new Fox comedy Grandfathered. Lotte Verbeek is set to play Ana Jarvis, the "free-spirited wife" of Edwin Jarvis. Here's what Jeph Loeb had to say about Ana Jarvis, who befriends Peggy after her arrival in Los Angeles.

"For a character fans love as much as Jarvis, we had to find him a partner who would be equally beloved. Lotte brings ease, sincerity and warmth to the role that's just perfect."

The last new character is Reggie Austin's Jason Wilkes, who becomes a potential new love interest for Peggy Carter. Jason is described as a "quirky, yet charismatic scientist" who instantly charms Peggy. It isn't known when Jason Wilkes or any of these new characters will debut in Season 2 quite yet. Here's what Jeph Loeb had to say about the addition of Reggie Austin.

"We were impressed by Reggie as soon as we met with him. He has a unique ability to be handsome and charming while also being extremely accessible. We knew he could portray a character whom both audiences and Peggy would love."

We reported back in May that Season 2 will span 10 episodes, a slight increase over the eight-episode first season that debuted earlier this year. ABC still hasn't announced when exactly Marvel's Agent Carter will return, but it will most likely take over Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Tuesday 9 PM time slot when the show goes on hiatus. What do you think about all of these new casting additions to Marvel's Agent Carter?
