With Avengers: Age of Ultron hitting theaters next weekend, many fans are wondering if the ABC TV series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will connect to the Marvel Phase Two sequel. ABC and Marvel have released a new clip from next week's episode, "The Dirty Half Dozen, which reveals a connection to Avengers: Age of Ultron. The scene has Coulson (Clark Gregg) explaining to Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) that Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) is experimenting on people with super powers, as they try to find a way to stop him. Of course, it isn't known if Avengers: Age of Ultron star Thomas Kretschmann will actually appear in this episode as Baron Von Strucker, but we'll have to wait and see. We also have the official synopsis for the 2-part finale S.O.S. Part 1 and S.O.S. Part 2 which teases huge sacrifices are on the way, as well as the full gallery for the episode that bridges this week's adventure and the grand climax, Scars.

"The Dirty Half Dozen centers on Gonzales and Coulson as they try to find a way to put their differences aside and work together against Hydra, even if it means teaming up with someone they don't trust. In addition to the clip, we also have a poster for the upcoming episode from Entertainment Weekly. The site spoke to executive producer Jeffrey Bell, who had this to say when asked of Skye's internal conflict about seeing Ward again along with her family issues:

"There's a scene between the six of them-our six original people-and it's maybe...I don't know if it's my favorite scene of this season, but it's certainly a top three or four scene of the season, of all six of them together. And part of the reason is that it does everything. You're reminded of how good they used to be, how good they were together, and what went wrong. The guys did a lovely job on it."

After "The Dirty Half-Dozen", there are only three more episodes of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two of which will serve as the extended season finale on Tuesday, May 12.
