Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. only has five more episodes remaining in Season 2, as the show returs Tuesday, April 21 at 9 PM ET with "The Freney of My Enemy". Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is hitting theaters on May 1, just a few weeks before Season 2 comes to a close, and many fans are wondering if these TV and movie worlds will cross over yet again. While appearing on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, actress Cobie Smulders, who plays Maria Hill in the MCU, reveals that she will be popping up in an upcoming episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Here's what she had to say below.

"There is one coming up. I'm not a cast member, but I pop in every now and again, to kind of link the two worlds, the two worlds being the movies and the TV show, together."

She wouldn't specify which episode she will appear in, and it isn't known how large her role is, or why Maria Hill's presence is needed in this episode. Last season, the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier drastically altered the course of the show, as it was revealed that Hydra had been infiltrating S.H.I.E.L.D. and other organizations for decades. It isn't known how, or if, the events portrayed in Avengers: Age of Ultron will affect Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but we'll just have to wait and see in a few weeks.

It's worth noting that Coulson (Clark Gregg) has been on a "secret mission" of sorts lately, which could be the reason for Maria Hill's arrival. It's possible Maria Hill could appear in "The Dirty Half Dozen" or "Scars", the episodes directly before and after the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, but we don't know that for sure. "The Dirty Half Dozen" centers on both Coulson and Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) putting their differences aside to face a new Hydra threat, which could have ties to Thomas Kretschmann's Avengers: Age of Ultron character Baron Von Strucker. While we wait for more details, take a look at Cobie Smulders' appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! below.
