Last month, actress Alexa Vega sent out a photo to her Twitter followers, revealing her skimpy attire in Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills. While we didn't know anything about her character KillJoy then, the actress recently described her in an interview as, "a bodyguard of a whore house". Here is what she had to say about how the crew reacted to her wardrobe.

"The first time I walked out in my outfit on set, everyone was like, 'Wow, you're not allowed to wear that!' I've never done anything like this, I'd never felt comfortable enough, and I never thought this would be the project where I'd take a step forward."

She also revealed how she had to embrace her sexuality to effectively portray her role in the film.

"This was all about owning my sexuality. I worked really hard for it in a way that I never had to work hard for something before."

The actress played Carmen Cortez in Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids movies and will also be seen in Dylan Baker's family film 23 Blast.
