"Oh, this cursed day!" Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day author Judith Viorst is here to introduce three new clips from the Disney comedy based on her popular children's novel, with scenes that spotlight each member of Alexander's family as their day goes from better, to bad, to worse in the matter of just a few minutes.

Alexander and the Very Bad Day follows 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he's not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn't had one.

We get to experience some of these hardships in this special preview, which kicks off with Dad (Steve Carell) catching a record number of shrimp in his mouth as the entire restaurant watches on. Pleased with his accomplishments, Alex's father gets a little too close to the fire of his success and erupts in flames. His only alternative, suffice it to say, does not please anyone awaiting their meal. This is followed by a quick visit to Mom's (Jennifer Garner) workplace, where she is prepping her Potty Training book. Things seem to be going in her favor, but by the next clip, things obviously haven't gone as planned. She looks terrible, and so does her baby, who has painted his face green with a marker. Alex's brother is about to take his driver's test, but as Alexander warns, on this Very Bad Day he is destined to fail!

Watch as one family find their entire day, and possibly the rest of their lives flushed down the toilet.
