Jimi ooozed sexiness in a way that no one can surpass. Andre has similar features .. but Mr. Hendrix had a passion for life [ music ] deeper than any earthy ocean ... I'll be interested to see how A.B. can interpret his Hendrix.

    • i dont think andre benjamin is right for this, he kinda resembles him but his voice is too high pitch if anyone would have been more right for this it should have been Martin Luther, his character was practically a knock off of jimi hendrix in Across the Universe and he looked way better for the part, he had the looks and the voice

the last photo is great - but the others look lie, well...André 3000 in an afro wig. Obvisouly Hendrix was much lighter skinned too - but there's not much that can be done about that!

@supermanvenom Oh, I'm not knocking him having the role. I'm pretty excited to see what he does with it. I honestly can't think of many other actors I could see pulling off Hendrix. Maybe Jamie Foxx?

He certainly looks the part. Whether he can pull off Hendrix's vibe is another matter.
