Do you like puns? Then you'll love the new title of Alvin and The Chipmunks 4, now subtitled The Road Chip. In addition to the title being confirmed, the CGI/Live Action comedy adventure has also found it's main villain. Tony Hale, known for his scene-stealing roles in the popular TV series Veep and Arrested Development, will be going up against Alvin, Theodore and Simon.

Walt Becker, the man behind such neo-comedy classics as National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Old Dogs and Wild Hogs, will be directing this time out. Jason Lee is back as the always tormented Dave. Also along for this new adventure are Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney.

No story details have been revealed yet, with the script being as closely guarded as the plot to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Ross Bagdasarian and Janice Marmen are producing, with a Christmas release date already in place. The last three films in this franchise have been huge hits for Fox 2000, grossing more than $1 billion worldwide. Hopes are very high for this latest sequel.
