In Time actress Amanda Seyfried is in talks to star in Lovelace, a biopic on legendary porn star Linda Lovelace.

Actor Peter Sarsgaard is also in talks to join Lovelace. He will portray Chuck Traynor, Linda Lovelace's husband and porn director. We reported back in January that Kate Hudson and James Franco were offered the lead roles, although it seems a deal was never reached. We also reported in July that Olivia Wilde expressed interest in playing Linda Lovelace.

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Howl) will direct Lovelace from a screenplay by Merritt Johnson and Andy Bellin, which is adapted from Eric Danville's book, The Complete Linda Lovelace. The story follows Linda Lovelace's discovery by Chuck Traynor, who turned her into a world-famous sex star. Years later she quit the adult entertainment business and divorced Chuck Traynor, accusing him of coercing her into the X-rated industry.

Production is scheduled to begin in January. Another Linda Lovelace project, Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, which stars Malin Akerman, is also scheduled to start production in January.
