According to The Hollywood Reporter it looks like AMC will be renewing Breaking Bad for a third season.

In the first season the show earned a Peabody Award as well as an Emmy for show lead Bryan Cranston.
In it's second season the show opened up to 1.7 million viewers. That's a 21% increase from the first season.
