Two brothers get roughed up by two hardened criminals in our exclusive clip from American Heist, debuting on ultra VOD June 19 before arriving in theaters July 24. This scene features James (Hayden Christensen) and Frankie (Adrien Brody) paying a visit to their criminal connections Ray (Tory Kittles) and Sugar (Akon), although they aren't very happy to see them. James has to convince them both that his girlfriend (Jordana Brewster) isn't a cop, even though she works at the police station.

James (Hayden Christensen) owes his life to his older brother, Frankie (Adrien Brody) after taking the rap for a crime they committed together. While Frankie served time, James worked to turn his life around, got a steady job and began courting his former girlfriend Emily (Jordana Brewster). Now, Frankie is released and back on the streets with no money and no place to go. He turns to his underworld connections (Akon) and convinces James to join him in hopes that one last job will be the solution to change both their lives.

The supporting cast includes Laura Cayouette, Aaron V. Williamson, Kenneth Kynt Bryan, Luis Da Silva Jr. and Elena Sanchez in this upcoming crime thriller, set in New Orleans. Hayden Christensen and Akon also serve as executive producers on American Heist, which was directed by Sarik Andreasyan (Cooties). Check out our exclusive clip below, which does contain plenty of R-rated language.
