Last week, we reported that Emmy-winning actress Jessica Lange will not be back for Season 5 of American Horror Story, which we reported in January will be called American Horror Story: Hotel. Over the past week, series creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed two new casting additions through his official Twitter page, Chloë Sevigny and Wes Bentley. Of course, no character details were given at this time.

Both actors have appeared on previous seasons of American Horror Story. Chloë Sevigny starred in Season 2, American Horror Story: Aslyum, as Briarcliff Aslyum's Shelly, a nymphomaniac who was committed by her husband. Wes Bentley portrayed Edward Mordrake, a two-faced ghost who collected the souls of tortured carnival performers in Season 4, American Horror Story: Freak Show. They join a cast that also includes Lady Gaga, Matthew Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson.

Aside from the American Horror Story: Hotel title, very little is known about Season 5, but Ryan Murphy revealed last year that all of the previous seasons are connected, despite being set in various different locations and time periods. It isn't known where exactly this Hotel will be located, or what time period it will be set in, but the series creator also recently teased that this season will feature an, "unusually large reinvention" for the series as a whole. While we wait for more details, take a look at Ryan Murphy's tweets announcing the new cast members below.
