Last season on FX's American Horror Story, singer Lady Gaga made her TV acting debut, playing The Countess on the critically-acclaimed anthology series. We reported in November that FX renewed the series for Season 6. No story details have been revealed, nor have we heard about any returning cast members. Earlier today, Lady Gaga confirmed in a radio interview on the Elvis Duran Show that she is coming back this year. The actress/singer couldn't share much else, though.

"I can't promise you how or when or anything like that. Ryan will kill me if I tease anything else about it."

Each season of American Horror Story has been set in a different location and time period, but the network hasn't confirmed where the show will be set this coming season. FX president John Landgraf did reveal at the TCA winter tour that the new season would be set in present day, but there will also be "echoes of the past" thrown in as well. It was recently confirmed that, despite all of these different settings, all of the seasons are connected together.

There are also rumors that Jessica Lange, who starred in the first four seasons of the horror anthology show, may return. The actress' contract expired after the fourth season, and the most recent installment, American Horror Story: Hotel, was the first that didn't feature Jessica Lange. The actress' return has not been confirmed at this time, so we'll have to wait and see if FX makes it official in the near future.

While the cast varies from season to season, last season starred Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Matthew Bomer, Chloë Sevigny, Denis O'Hare, Cheyenne Jackson and Finn Wittrock. It isn't known if series creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy is planning on bringing back any of these cast members, or what new actors will come aboard. The new season is expected to debut sometime this fall.

Ryan Murphy serves as Co-Creator, Showrunner, Executive Producer, Writer and Director of American Horror Story: Hotel. And Brad Falchuk is Co-Creator, Executive Producer and Writer. Tim Minear, Brad Buecker, Jennifer Salt, James Wong and Alexis Martin Woodall also serve as Executive Producers. The American Horror Story franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television. What do you think about Lady Gaga's return to the hit series?
