While American Ultra won't be a part of Lionsgate's Hall H panel at Comic-Con this year, the studio is debuting a new poster that will debut at the Con later this week, plus an unusual comic-style poster that ties into the movie. The first features stars Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg holding up their weapons, with a slew of bullets littered around them. The second poster is actually for a character created by Jesse Eisenberg's Mike in the movie named Apollo Ape.

American Ultra centers on Mike (Jesse Eisenberg), a seemingly hapless and unmotivated stoner whose small-town life with his live-in girlfriend, Phoebe (Kristen Stewart), is suddenly turned upside down. Unbeknownst to him, Mike is actually a highly trained, lethal sleeper agent. In the blink of an eye, as his secret past comes back to haunt him, Mike is thrust into the middle of a deadly government operation and is forced to summon his inner action-hero in order to survive.

The supporting cast includes Walton Goggins, Topher Grace, Connie Britton, John Leguizamo, Bill Pullman and Tony Hale. We also have three new photos featuring Jesse Eisenberg, Walton Goggins and Topher Grace from this action-comedy, arriving in theaters August 21. Fans will be able to pick up the first poster at the Lionsgate booth (#4045) at Comic-Con this week. Check out the posters and images below from American Ultra.
