Actress Amy Poehler has joined the Black Bear Pictures comedy A.C.O.D., which will reunite her with Parks and Recreation co-star Adam Scott.

The story centers on a grown man who was forced as a child to be the adult of the household when his parents were going through their divorce. He tries to keep his bitter family together when his younger brother unexpectedly announces he's getting married. The title is an acronym for Adult Children of Divorce. Amy Poehler will play the second wife of the man's father (Richard Jenkins), who is bitter rivals with his first wife (Catherine O'Hara). Jessica Alba, Jane Lynch, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also star, although no details were given regarding their characters.

Stu Zicherman is directing A.C.O.D. from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ben Karlin. Production is scheduled to begin next week in Atlanta. Amy Poehler and Adam Scott just wrapped production on Parks and Recreation Season 4 last weekend.
