Nicole Kidman has signed on for an uncredited cameo role in the comedy sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues, which is currently shooting in Atlanta. Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson, both of whom had tiny roles in 2004's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, are also shooting cameos. No details were given regarding the roles these actors will portray.

The Action 4 News team reunites in Anchorman: The Legend Continues, with Will Ferrell (Ron Burgundy), Paul Rudd (Brian Fantana), Steve Carell (Brick Tamland), David Koechner (Champ Kind) and Christina Applegate (Veronica Corningstone) reprising their roles from the original. New cast members include Harrison Ford, Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker and Meagan Good.

Adam McKay is directing from a script he co-wrote with Will Ferrell. A December 20 release date has been set by Paramount Pictures.

The original Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy featured a slew of cameos from the likes of Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Tim Robbins, just to name a few.
