Anne Hathaway joins Christopher Nolan's Interstellar
Oscar winner Anne Hathaway is nearing a deal to star in Interstellar for Warner Bros. If a deal is finalized, the actress will reunite with her director of The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan.

The story revolves around a trip into outer space that pushes humanity's knowledge of science. The plot reportedly is based on the theories of physicist Kip S. Thorne, who believes that wormholes actually do exist and can be used for time travel. No details have been released regarding Anne Hathaway's character, but she will co-star with Matthew McConaughey, who plays Cooper.

Christopher Nolan is directing from a screenplay he is co-writing with his brother, Jonathan Nolan. The director will also produce alongside Emma Thomas and Lynda Obst. No production schedule has been given.
