Back in July, we reported that Anthony Mackie has signed on to play Sam Wilson a.k.a. The Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The actor recently revealed that The Falcon will actually fly in this superhero sequel.

"I will have wings. I will be able to fly. I will be a superhero and fight people, namely The Winter Soldier."

He also spoke about diving into research to play this character, with the help of his older brother, a fan of the original comic books.

"It was funny; a lot of the research I found was online. My older brother was a huge comic book buff. So when the news came out online, he called me and just gave me the whole rundown. Luckily, I have a lot of friends who weren't cool growing up, but who are really cool now, so they read a lot of comic books. So I would just call and ask them, and they would send me all of this stuff online, and I got to read a bunch of the old comic books. It's fortunate, because it's a take off the comic book, it's not the exactly storyline of the comic book."

The actor would not answer specific questions about the possibility of Sam Wilson having a pet falcon named Redwing. One of the reasons he would not get into specifics is because he doesn't want to get in trouble and be replaced.

"This is what I learned about franchises. They can always cast somebody else and say, 'Well that last person died,' or just not address it. You see the second movie, and the guy is a different guy than the first, and they're like, 'Yep, same dude to me.' I am very happy to be here.

Anthony Mackie did confirm that he starts shooting on April 1. Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are directing from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje reveals the animalistic nature behind Kurse in Thor: The Dark WorldIn related Marvel Phase II sequel news, actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje recently spoke about taking on the role of Kurse in Thor: The Dark World, revealing the "animalistic" nature of his character that serves as a contrast to Chris Hemsworth's Thor.

"Kurse is very animalistic. He's got these horns, so what I did was try to go with that flow so my movements were very much like an animal. You had to contort your body and your head cause I've got these big horns on my head. Very, very different style from Chris (Hemsworth)'. It was a great ride."

With Christopher Eccleston's Malekith the Accursed as the main villain in this sequel, many fans are wondering where Tom Hiddleston's Loki fits in. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje reveals that Loki definitely has his chance to shine.

"He gets his fair share, me and him as well. The great thing about Kurse, he's having it with everybody. Loki has some amazing fights in this, everybody gets their shine. I won't tell you what really happens, but there's some great surprises."

The actor also said that Kurse may be seen in future Marvel Studios adventures.

"We're talking about that. Obviously Marvel is a great family that I'm happy to be working with. We had a great time on, so I'd love to continue that relationship."

When asked specifically if that means he may be popping up in Guardians of the Galaxy, the actor would not confirm nor deny that claim.

"I'm not talking about anything yet. I'm just talking about having a really good relationship with Marvel."
