An LA-based company is about to delve into the Hong Kong film world with their new film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Arclight Films has acquired Future X-Cops, which looks to take China by storm at the end of the year.

Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau stars in the $20 million film, directed by Hong Kong legend Wong Jing. The story revolves around a cop who travels back in time to stop a doctor who has created technology that could put a stop to the city's monopoly on natural resources.

It was said that the Chinese release of the film is said to be so huge that it will include every single theater in the country.
