Are These Possible Titles for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’?

Sony is considering three subtitles for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Sony Pictures is rumored to be looking for a new title for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

A Comic Book Movie reader reports that the studio was asking for fan feedback about possible subtitles for the superhero sequel, before an advance screening of the studio's Captain Phillips last week at the Mall of America in Minnesota.

Take a look at what reader Jeff White had to say.

"I saw an advance screening of Captain Phillips last week on Thursday at Mall of America. Before the showing there were Sony people there from their marketing arm asking for people's opinion on Amazing Spider-Man 2 subtitles. There were three subtitles they were testing, but I forget one of them. The two I remember wereThe Amazing Spider-Man: Price of Power. The second one was The Amazing Spider-Man: With Great Power."

This is the first we've heard about any kind of addition to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 title. Do you think this sequel even needs a subtitle? If so, which one do you prefer for director Marc Webb's sequel.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released May 2nd, 2014.

The Price of Power kind of has a nice ring to it, but given the history of naming the comic books I agree that it's dumb not to go with "Spectacular" or something like that.

'The Amazing Spiderman 2: ...Comes Great Responsibility' is probably the third option

I don't expect much creativity here.

Both suck. No subtitle needed. "Amazing Spiderman 2" will suffice

How about A web of a Spiderman or Sensational Spiderman.

Where does it say that AMS needs to be the forefronter.
