In just a few short weeks, The CW's Arrow and The Flash will come together once again for another epic two-night crossover. The highly-anticipated event kicks off on Tuesday, December 1, with The Flash episode Legends of Today, followed by Arrow's Legends of Yesterday on Wednesday, December 2. If you couldn't guess from both the episode titles, the crossover will also feature characters from The CW's upcoming series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and today we have new photos from TV Insider, featuring DC's Legends of Tomorrow characters Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee). Here's what executive producer Marc Guggenheim had to say about the crossover.

"This is a crazy, full-on 'To Be Continued' crossover. (It) really feels like a 2-hour movie [airing] over two nights. The final moments of The Flash have a pretty big jaw-dropper and we pick up those threads in Arrow. Then we do some things with the characters from Arrow...that are pretty epic and major."

The Flash episode Legends of Today centers on Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump), who arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renee). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings, AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel), shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.

The Arrow half of the crossover, Legends of Yesterday, follows Oliver and Barry as they take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn't go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.

After this week's new episodes, both Arrow and The Flash will be going on a brief one-week break during the week of Thanksgiving, before returning with this highly-anticipated crossover event. The Flash returns tomorrow, November 17 with Gorilla Warfare, which marks the return of Gorilla Grodd, with Arrow's new episode Brotherhood airing Wednesday, November 18. Take a look at these new photos and stay tuned for more on this epic crossover.
