Comic-Con doesn't officially start until today, but last night marked the annual Preview Night, where fans, professionals and exhibitors alike can get their first glimpse of the convention floor, and watch a handful of TV pilot episodes months before they air. There are tons of amazing items on display every year, and this year, The CW Network put several costumes from their hit superhero shows Arrow and The Flash on display, for all to see. The most intriguing item on display is the helmet worn by the original Flash, which eagle-eyed fans noticed laying on the ground during the The Flash Season 1 finale, when Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) flash-forwarded into the future.

Of course, it remains to be seen how this helmet will come into play in Season 2, but executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased that the The Flash Season 2 premiere will answer all of the lingering questions, but "how that happens won't quite be the way people expect." Despite being killed off, and/or "erased" from the timeline, Tom Cavanagh (Reverse Flash) will remain a series regular, and Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawne) will still be around, although not as a series regular. Unfortunately, these costumes don't shed any light into possible story lines.

We also get a look at the Weather Wand, the device Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) creates to counter the Weather Wizard's attacks, along with a few Arrow costumes on display including the Black Canary. Fans will learn much more about both shows during the Superhero Saturday Night, a three-hour panel which takes place from 8 PM to 11 PM on Saturday, July 11 in Hall H. While we wait for more details, check out the new photos below.
