The cast and crew of Arrow descended upon PaleyFest over the weekend, before the show returns from a brief three-week hiatus with "The Offer" on Wednesday, March 18 on The CW. The producers showed the fans a sizzle reel of upcoming episodes, where it was revealed that two more characters, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) will learn that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is the vigilante known as Arrow. The episode picks up after Ra's al Ghul (Matthew Nable) made an offer to Oliver to join the League of Assassins, and the sizzle reel showed Merlyn (John Barrowman) telling Oliver that anyone who survives an attack by Ra's al Ghul's blade will become Ra's al Ghul himself. Here's what Stephen Amell had to say about Ra's offer at PaleyFest.

"It's an offer in name only. It's not really an offer. It's a demand. If Oliver says no, there will be incredibly dire consequences."

Oliver will mull over his accomplishments in Starling City while considering the offer, coming to the conclusion that his achievements aren't actually that impressive. In considering the offer, Oliver will take stock in what he's accomplished in the time he's been back in Starling City - and he will determine that what he's accomplished isn't that impressive.

"That makes being the idea of being the person who commands the League of Assassins in any way that he sees fit really appealing."

The cast also teased that fans will see a more "introspective" and "defeated version of Oliver going forward, while Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Oliver's love interest Felicity Smoak, who has become "romantically entangled" with Ray Palmer, reveals that Felicity needs time to figure out what to do.

"She needs the time to go and explore other options."
