When The CW's Arrow returns with the Season 4 premiere Green Arrow next week, there will be plenty of changes in store for fans when they come back to Starling City. For one, even the name of the city has been officially changed to Star City, in honor of Brandon Routh's "death" last season, but the biggest change is that Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) is no longer a Star City resident, leaving his hometown at the end of Season 3 with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). To help combat a new scourge of crime, Willa Holland's Thea Queen transforms into the costumed vigilante Speedy, who we can see in full costume in a brand new photo.

After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver's crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra's al Ghul, is anyone really safe?

As you may recall, towards the end of Season 3, Thea Queen was killed by the nefarious Ra's Al Ghul, but she was brought back to life through the Lazarus Pit. This season, she will team up with Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) and Diggle (David Ramsey) to help stop a new crime wave in Star City, but as we've seen in previously-released trailers, it won't be too long before they track down Oliver to ask for his help. What remains to be seen is if Thea/Speedy will begin to display an adverse affects from being resurrected.

The new threat to Star City is Damien Darhk, played by Neal McDonough, who is just one of several new characters already confirmed for this season. Fans will also be introduced to Alexander Calvert as Anarky, Echo Kellum as superhero Mister Terrific, Jimmy Akingbola as the villainous Baron Blitzkrieg, Jeri Ryan as Jessica Danforth, JR Bourne as Double Down and Rutina Wesley as Lady Cop. There will surely be several more casting additions announced as the season gets under way, so stay tuned for more announcements.

Caity Lotz, whose character Black Canary was killed in the Season 3 premiere, will also make her return in a Season 4 episode of Arrow, where she will be reportedly brought back to life through the Lazarus Pit and resurrected as White Canary. There is speculation that this will happen in the same episode that Matt Ryan will guest star as John Constantine, since his character has expert knowledge of the Lazarus Pit. While we wait for more details on this highly-anticipated season, take a look at Willa Holland as Speedy below.
