Back in November, Arrow executive producer Greg Berlanti said there were no discussions about series star Stephen Amell appearing as Green Arrow in Warner Bros.' highly-anticipated Justice League movie. However, a lot can happen in a couple of months, since Stephen Amell is now revealing that he has been in early talks with the studio.

That being said, the actor wants to stress the importance of putting the CW Network series first, and the fact that a Justice League movie is a lot further away than many people think at this point.

"All we have to do for something like that to happen, or even be a possibility, is continue to take care of business with our show and then we put ourselves in a position - but the important thing is our show. I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think. I mean, they haven't even shot the next one. They haven't even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is the Justice League movie!"

The actor is referring to Batman Vs. Superman as the movie before Justice League. It has been widely speculated that Batman Vs. Superman will feature several cameos from a number of superheroes, which leads directly into Justice League. Along with the confirmed Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), other characters rumored to be involved are Aquaman and villains such as Lex Luthor and Metallo.

Stephen Amell himself actually started the ball rolling on this rumor himself, when he posted a photo of Green Arrow and Justice League comic book covers on his Facebook page back in November. If Warner Bros. is considering delving into DC's TV line-up, it's possible that they may enlist The Flash star Grant Gustin as well.

Of course, before Justice League can happen, production will begin this spring on Batman Vs. Superman, which is being directed by Zack Snyder.
