If you reside in the greater Los Angeles area and love the film Blade Runner, here's an event you might want to check out. Paul's Brain Trust has put together a benefit screening of Blade Runner as a fundraiser for DVD producer Paul Prischman, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Blade Runner

The screening will take place on Saturday, June 14 at 2 PM PT on the Warner Bros. Studios backlot in Burbank, CA. Tickets for the event are $50 and each attendee will receive a limited edition Blade Runner collectable and the screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Ridley Scott and, possibly other members of the cast and crew as well. They are also auctioning off 10 premium passes on eBay (items not listed as of yet) which will give you a private walking tour of Blade Runner locations on the Warner Bros. backlot. The auctions for these passes should start in the next few days.

Prischman has worked on such hit DVD's as American Gangster, Gladiator Extended Edition, Spider-Man 2, Matchstick Men, Once Upon a Time in Mexico and, of course, the massive holiday release, Blade Runner: Ultimate Collector's Edition, which was considered by many to be the best DVD set of 2007.
