With Captain America: Civil War currently filming in Atlanta and Doctor Strange getting ready to start shooting in London, the Marvel Phase Three lineup is starting to come together. After both of those 2016 movies, Marvel will release Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 in 2017, with Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 set to follow in 2019. Marvel is starting to cast for Avengers 3 in Los Angeles, with Acting Auditions claiming that the studio is seeking actors to play a major villain from the comics. While these details have not been confirmed, there will be potential SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk.

If this report is true, the studio is seeking an actor to play Magus, the evil side of Adam Warlock, who separates from his body and creates the Infinity Gauntlet. Magus also creates dopplegangers of Earth's Mightiest Heroes as part of Thanos' (Josh Brolin) plan to create a world filled with evil. Actors submitting themselves for consideration must be eligible to work in the U.K., with production most likely taking place at Pinewood Studios in London.

This is the first we're hearing of Magus' involvement in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1, but it isn't specified in the casting breakdown if he will return in Avengers: Infinity War Part 2. It also isn't specified if the studio is looking for someone to play Adam Warlock in this movie or not. The breakdown also confirms that Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Josh Brolin (Thanos) and Chris Evans (Captain America) are set to star, but there is no mention of Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). We'll keep you posted as soon as more details surface, but, in the meantime, what do you think about Magus being cast in Avengers: Infinity War Part 1?
