The countdown towards Infinity War continues, with stars Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier/White Wolf) and Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/The Falcon) revealing new details about their characters. Sebastian Stan explains that Bucky is still in Wakanda, as we saw in the post-credits scene in Black Panther, where Bucky was re-awakened as the White Wolf. While Mackie wouldn't divulge any specifics, he reveals that the team all went their separate ways following Civil War, but now they're back to fight Thanos (Josh Brolin). Here's what Mackie had to say below.

"We all kind of went on our separate ways after Civil War. We all kind of went on our separate ways and we were in hiding because of everything that happened in Civil War. So now, we get the call to rally, and here we are: Avengers 3. One thing about Falcon I've always loved since the beginning of discovering this character is his military background, his belief that his job in life to fight for his fellow man. So when he hears about those in his overall idea of world destruction, he's very disheartened and shaken by it. He's eager to get into the fight against this super evil, this diabolical demon known as Thanos."

The threat of Thanos brings Sam Wilson to Wakanda, where he reunites with Bucky Barnes with, according to Mackie, "a warm greeting," admitting they are "surprised to see each other" on this new mission. Mackie also adds that Falcon is still skeptical as to whether or not certain keywords might turn Bucky into a brainwashed killing machine. Sebastian Stan admitted that Bucky is still recovering and the actor is still discovering this ever-evolving character along the way.

"It's certainly been a lot more of a stable situation for my guy, from what we've been used to and stuff. It's interesting, I'm really still discovering him. You can't just turn a hard right and everything's great. I'm still finding it to be honest."

Anthony Mackie also added that The Falcon remains, "a continuous supporter of Cap," which leads to a number of "ridiculous moments" including Bucky encountering a "talking raccoon" (Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy), but the actor also revealed that he did some filming in Scotland, which hadn't been previously revealed. Here's what he had to say about shooting in Scotland.

"It was great. People in Scotland liked to drink a lot. It was great. It was actually a lot of fun. People were very supportive, very helpful and really left us alone. I found that so surprising, even in Atlanta, if you try to shoot this movie downtown, there's going to be someone who's going to bother you. The people of Scotland are just like, just don't [disturb] my pub, and we're good. It was dope. We had a very good time."

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo had previously sent out a social media post of production in Scotland, with the directors seen in the photo alongside Thor: Ragnarok and Infinity War stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. There are theories that Scotland is where Thor and Valkyrie come to Earth after a confrontation with Thanos, which could lead to Cap and his team, including Falcon and Black Widow, heading to Scotland. Unfortunately, no further details were revealed by the actors in their on-set interview from last summer with ComicBook.com.
