Welcome to today's edition of Nerd Alert, where we have all the off-beat, nerdy news for you in one convenient spot. What do we have in store for you on this tremendous Thursday? Both Game of Thrones and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind get the 8-bit treatment and Arnold Schwarzenegger has a "brainstorm" with Jimmy Fallon. If that wasn't enough, we have a breakdown of how to get a job at Pixar and practical female superhero costumes. But first, a fan builds an impressive Batman motorcycle, a couple of well-known Princesses get in a rap battle, and parody legend 'Weird Al' Yankovic gets what he's so long deserved! So, sit back, relax, and check out all that today's Nerd Alert has to offer.

Fan-Made Motorcycle Inspired by Tim Burton's Batman

Batman Motorcycle 1
Batman Motorcycle 2
Batman Motorcycle 3

Poland-based Game Over Cycles has designed and built an incredible custom motorcycle inspired by Tim Burton's 1989 classic Batman. It's a massive three-wheeled motorcycle that may be the coolest "trike" we've ever seen. We have no word on how much a trike like this cost to make, but it sure does look amazing.

Princess Rap Battle: Daenerys Targaryen (Yvonne Strahovski) vs. Maleficent (Whitney Avalon)

As a part of her Princess Rap Battle YouTube series, actress/comedian Whitney Avalon has put together another hilarious video, where she plays the Disney villain Maleficent, going toe-to-toe with Yvonne Strahovski as Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. This three minute video provides an onslaught of hilarious rhymes, with a fun little Wayne's World reference thrown in to boot.

'Weird Al' Yankovic Gets Inducted into the Comedy Music Hall of Fame

College Humor has put together a hilarious video where comedy music legend 'Weird Al' Yankovic is inducted into the Comedy Music Hall of Fame. Paul F. Tompkins interviews the comedian/musician, who sheds light on how he first came to combine comedy and music, simply because he wasn't listening to the songs loud enough.

A History of Kicking Ass - Part 1

Cinefix's FilmSchool'd series takes us through the history of ass-kicking on the silver screen in this 11 minute video, which breaks down how on-screen action has evolved from the Lumiere Brothers' 1896 film of a train arriving at a station, to the myriad of action blockbusters we can see today.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Plays "Brainstorm" With Jimmy Fallon

On last night's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Terminator Genisys star Arnold Schwarzenegger played a rousing game of "brainstorm" with host Jimmy Fallon. The game is essentially like Jeopardy!, where Arnold Schwarzenegger says the answer to a question, and Jimmy Fallon provides the question, with the host mocking Rachel Dolezal, Chris Christie and more.

Game of Thrones 8-Bit Super Mario World Remix

Yesterday, we showed you a young man who managed to beat Super Mario World in just 23 minutes, blindfolded, but today we have a much different version of the classic Nintendo game. YouTuber Steve Jase has put together a remix of Ramin Djawadi's iconic Game of Thrones theme, with an 8-bit remix that includes all of the characters from the popular game. Since we have nearly 10 months or so until Game of Thrones comes back on HBO, some fans (like me) will do anything to get that GoT fix, and this brief video does the trick.

How to Get a Job at Pixar

Even though this video is two years old, featuring Monsters University director Dan Scanlon and producer Kori Rae, the popularity of Pixar's Inside Out has made Pixar buzzworthy once again, so we thought it would still be relevant. The director and producer reveals what qualities the studio is looking for in their employees, with several working their way up from a lowly production assistant.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 8-Bit Cinema

Cinefix is back with their latest 8-Bit Cinema installment, with this week's video exploring the 2004 indie classic Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The video hilariously recreates some of the movie's best scenes in a succinct four-minute video, and, like all of these 8-Bit Cinema videos, I wish this was actually playable, somewhere.

Practical Redesigns of Female Superhero Costumes

Wonder Woman Superhero Costume
Supergirl Superhero Costume
Elektra Superhero Costume
Black Canary Superhero Costume
Ms. Marvel Superhero Costume
Vampirella Superhero Costume
Red Sonja Superhero Costume
Power Girl Superhero Costume
Zatanna Superhero Costume

Artist Lord Ingvall has created nine redesigned female superhero costumes that are much more practical than the original designs. The superhero redesigns include Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Elektra, Black Canary, Ms. Marvel, Vampirella, Red Sonja, Power Girl, and Zatanna, along with explanations for why each change was made. The artist also wanted "to approach the subject of female superheroes with the degree of logic, equality, and respect they-and their readers-deserve," but, as the artist revealed on Twitter, not everyone is fond of his work.
