When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next month, it will also introduce fans to the rest of the Justice League before they come together in Justice League Part 1 and Justice League Part 2 in the next few years. We know that Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) will join forces with Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), but there is one more character who has yet to be cast, Green Lantern. Green Lantern Corps. doesn't come out until 2020, so it isn't surprising that this character's casting hasn't been announced yet, but if a new report from Pop Sugar is true, then it seems we may have our new Green Lantern after all.

The site interviewed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor Dan Amboyer, whose character has yet to be revealed at this time. While he doesn't spill the beans during this interview, the actor is listed on Batman v Superman's IMDB page as a Drone Pilot. This new report claims his name is Lieutenant Christie. While he didn't offer any specifics about the character, he did share his experiences on the set, which took place towards the beginning of principal photography.

"It was awesome. I got there right at the beginning of shooting and it was crazy because my first day people were showing me around and all of a sudden the Superman suit comes by - and it's giant. It's not something you can hang up. So that was insane. But what I thought was really interesting was that they filmed a lot of it on film, not digital. So a lot of the sets were actually built. So, all of a sudden, you're on another planet, literally. Everything is so intricate and perfect. You think so much of that is just CGI and post-production, but it was actually there."

So, we know the actor shot scenes on another planet. Which is clue number one that he might be a Green Lantern. He did add that his name Lt. Christie had an "undercover aspect" to it, meaning it could be hiding his character's true identity, possible Hal Jordan. In another intriguing part of the interview, the actor admitted that his favorite color is blue, before adding, "I appreciate nature as well and everything green." He wouldn't address any speculation that his character may appear in future movies, but even if he is Hal Jordan, there is another thing to take into consideration.

Back in December, a report surfaced that Green Lantern Corps. will feature both Hal Jordan and John Stewart, but it isn't known if both characters will surface in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Warner Bros.' plan has always been to feature at least two human Green Lanterns in their reboot. But nothing has ever been confirmed by the studio. And they were fairly quiet in announcing that it would even be called Green Lantern Corps., a title that hints at multiple lead characters.

It's also worth noting that, last year, Tyrese Gibson was heavily campaigning for the John Stewart role, even teasing that he took a meeting with Warner Bros. about playing the character.
