Fans attending New York Comic Con this weekend will get to see the iconic costumes worn by Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) on display, from the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If you can't make it to NYCC this weekend, DC All Access has you covered, with this week's episode showcasing the costume displays, plus an interview with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costume designer Michael G. Wilkinson. The eight-minute video also features never-before-seen concept art for all three costumes.

Back in August, the costume designer teased that director Zack Snyder wanted to embed a Kryptonian script into the actual Superman costume. While Michael G. Wilkinson wouldn't say exactly what the quote is, he teased that, "it has to do with power and the responsibility of power." As for Batman, Michael G. Wilkinson said that Zack Snyder wanted a whole new look for the Dark Knight, adding that the filmmaker was heavily influenced by Frank Miller's graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns. With Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, the costume designer confirmed a long-standing rumor about this character.

"Well, you know, Diana is immortal, so she's been around for a long time. She does have powers that are beyond human, so when we were creating our textures, we were referring to different metals that exist, but also creating new finishes of metals that might have this supernatural power to them. Hopefully we created something that's original and eye-catching."

In related news, Clay Enos, who worked as a still photographer on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, released a new photo of Ben Affleck as Batman on his Twitter page. The image also offers a glimpse at the Batmobile in the background, as The Dark Knight gets ready for battle. If that wasn't enough, we also have some images from the NYCC floor, which reveal some of the collectibles that fans will be able to purchase.

We reported last month that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was issued a PG-13 rating, which some have speculated could mean that another trailer is just around the corner. Unfortunately, there won't be a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice panel at NYCC this weekend, but stay tuned for more on this highly-anticipated superhero adventure, hitting theaters March 25, 2016.
