Fans who attended the Warner Bros. Comic-Con panel in Hall H today got to see the full-length trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which included tons of new footage. Many times, these trailers aren't made available to the public until long after the Con has ended, but the studio has thankfully released the more than 3 minutes of footage for all to see! We get our first look at Holly Hunter, who plays an unnamed Senator bringing Superman (Henry Cavill) to answer for his actions. We also see why Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is so angry at Superman to begin with: One of his buildings was destroyed during the epic final battle in Man of Steel.

Director Zack Snyder explained during the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice panel that one of the major changes they made to the comics was making both Superman's Metropolis and Batman's Gotham City neighboring cities, comparing them to Oakland and San Francisco, separated by a bay. This would explain how Bruce Wayne's building was affected by the Man of Steel battle, setting up these two superheroes clashing. We also see how Clark Kent isn't exactly a fan of Batman either, while we also get new footage of Martha Kent (Diane Lane), and our first look at both Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in action!

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before. Check out the thrilling trailer below for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, in theaters March 25, 2016.
