Yesterday, we reported that the first five seconds of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer will be released through director Zack Snyder's official Twitter page tomorrow at 9 AM PST. Along with the first brief look at footage from this superhero adventure, the filmmaker will also reveal instructions for how fans can get tickets to see the full trailer at a special theatrical event taking place on Monday, April 20. Today, Collider has revealed that the event will likely take place in IMAX theaters.

The site noticed that the Celebration Cinema theater in Grand Rapids, Michigan has already posted a pre-sale page for what they call the "Batman v Superman IMAX Trailer Event," which seemingly indicates that the event will take place in IMAX theaters. Collider has also heard that the event will take place in approximately 100 theaters across the country. Since this will be a limited theatrical event, it's likely that the full trailer will debut online shortly thereafter.

The IMAX connection shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, especially to fans who follow director Zack Snyder on Twitter. The filmmaker posted a unique photo earlier this week, which showed him lifting one of IMAX's bulky film cameras. He also used IMAX cameras for the first time to film certain sequences in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but we're not sure what those scenes are quite yet. Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce this trailer event, but we should find out all the details tomorrow. In the meantime, take a look at Zack Snyder's photo below, and stay tuned for more on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, arriving in theaters March 25, 2016.
