It has long been rumored that, at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans will be introduced to the full Justice League, with Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) coming together with Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). While we'll likely have to wait until next March to find out if this is true or not, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Wonder Woman has a very important role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, teasing that she is the 'gateway drug" to the Justice League.

"She plays a super-important part. In a lot of ways, she's the gateway drug to
the rest of the
Justice League."

Gal Gadot says that when she auditioned for Zack Snyder, she had no idea it was for the Wonder Woman role. The actress reveals that, after reading a scene from Pulp Fiction, the director told her what the role was.

"I knew [the role] was big and it was for one of the franchises. He said, 'Well, I don't know how big she is in Israel...' and my jaw just dropped. There are so many expectations for this character, it's impossible not to
be a little nervous about it."

The actress also spoke briefly about her weapons training to portray Wonder Woman, although she is still working on perfecting the use of one weapon in her arsenal, the lasso.

"I love doing the swordplay stuff. It's another skill to add to my collection."

After Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters in March 2016, Gal Gadot will star in her own stand alone Wonder Woman movie. We reported in May that Chris Pine was in talks to play her love interest Steve Trevor, but that report was never confirmed. The actor has also been rumored to star in a different superhero movie, Warner Bros.' Green Lantern Reboot as Hal Jordan, alongside Tyrese Gibson as Jon Stewart, but that has never been confirmed either.
