When Gal Gadot was first announced to play Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, many fans wondered if this superhero adventure may introduce a "love triangle" of sorts, between Wonder Woman, Lois Lane (Amy Adams) and Superman (Henry Cavill). While that aspect to the story may be introduced in later films, such as Wonder Woman, Justice League Part 1 or Justice League Part 2, Amy Adams revealed in a recent interview that Lois and Wonder Woman won't be "competing" or fighting for the affections of the Man of Steel. Here's what she had to say below.

"It's exciting to get to bring in all these other characters, and I was really excited that Gal was involved, because it was a nice to have another girl on set. Even if we don't work together a lot, it was nice to have her there... They always think that if you put in another woman and automatically... 'Catfight!' No, I think that's a male fantasy thing. I don't think that's reality. I don't know how it will turn out, if we're going to be competition, but we are not in this, I can safely say, and we're not in real life. She's just the coolest girl ever."

It's worth noting that in the New 52 comics, both Superman and Wonder Woman were given a heated romance right away, but that clearly won't be happening here. It isn't even known how large a role Gal Gadot will have in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, since she is only expected to be introduced towards the end of the film, paving the way for Wonder Woman and the two-part Justice League adventure. In a separate interview, Amy Adams revealed that Lois is "the key to the information," although she leaves the 'heavy lifting' to Superman, while teasing that she may have some scenes with Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

"Lois is still sort of like the key to the information, you know? She's the girl going out and getting it and figuring it out and putting it together and all of that, so she's very much involved, but I kind of leave the heavy lifting to the boys, you know? So to speak. They're awesome together. It's kind of like this big fest of muscles ... it was really kind of nice. And then you add Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot and I felt very short and, yeah."
