The Office: According to The Hollywood Reporter, the stationary life of BBC America's sitcom "The Office" is taking flight in a DVD promotional campaign with United Airlines beginning next month on more than 24,000 domestic and international flights and more than 4,500 Ted flights, according to BBC Video executives.

BBC Video's first foray into the in-flight world of publicity is designed to build awareness around its Nov. 16 DVD releases of "The Office Special" and "The Office -- The Complete Collection."

"The Office" has been our fastest-selling comedy, on par with 'Ab Fab,' " BBC Video and BBC Direct vp Burton Cromer said. DVD releases of the first and second season and the combination of the two, "The Office -- The First and Second Seasons," have sold about 300,000 combined DVD units to date, according to industry sources.
