‘Beetlejuice 2’ Photo Announces Writing Has Begun

Beetlejuice 2 screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith posted a fun photo on his Twitter and Instagram accounts today, hinting that writing has begun on this highly-anticipated sequel. (Either that, or the writer just happens to wear a Beetlejuice suit when he works). Either way, check out the photo below, then read on for more details.

Seth Grahame-Smith and his writing partner David Katzenberg were hired back in September 2011 to write the script for this sequel that has been in development for years. We reported February 2012 that Beetlejuice star Michael Keaton was in negotiations to return as the ghost with the most, although no other cast members have been confirmed. Beetlejuice director Tim Burton has hinted that he may come back to direct, but it's too early to tell at this stage.

Beetlejuice 2 is in development .
