Ben Affleck is in talks with Warner Bros. to star and direct their upcoming crime drama adaptation Live By Night. He will also be writing and producing the film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran of Appian Way.
The film is based on a crime drama novel by Dennis Lehane and centers on a police chief whose son falls into the life of organized crime.
Ben Affleck made his directorial debut with Gone Baby Gone back in 2007, which was also based on a mystery novel penned by Dennis Lehane. His most recent drama Argo hits theaters today.
No production schedule has been released for the project.
