It seems that comedian Ben Stiller could be at the center of a brand new look for an upcoming heist film. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Ben Stiller is in talks to star as the lead in Trump Heist, a move that would mark a significant change to the project's earlier development.

The film previously had stars such as Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock and Chris Tucker once in talks for the film. Now it seems that Universal and Ron Howard/Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment are taking the film in a new direction with Stiller in talks to star in the role that Murphy would have played, the ringleader of workers at the ritzy Trump Tower who plan to rob the residents of the upscale facility.

Brett Ratner is attached to direct the film and it was said that a new writer would be brought in to rewrite the script. Writers such as Russell Gerwitz (Inside Man), Rawson Marshall Thurber (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) and Ted Griffin (Ocean's Eleven) had previously worked on the script. It was also said that the film could be switched to the title Tower Heist as well.
