Tony Award-winning actress Bernadette Peters has boarded Summertime Entertainment's Dorothy of Oz. The actress will voice Glinda alongside Glee's Lea Michele, who is portraying Dorothy in this animated tale. They are both singing a duet for the soundtrack.

The film already stars Martin Short (Jester), James Belushi (Lion), Dan Aykroyd (Scarecrow), Kelsey Grammer (Tin Man) and Patrick Stewart (Tugg).

The story begins where L. Frank Baum's original The Wizard of Oz ends, continuing Dorothy's journey. The project is adapted from the adventure books written by the author's great-grandson, Roger Stanton Baum.
