CBS is turning to its reality docket while the writers' strike consumes Hollywood. According to Variety, the network is planning to bust out its poplar summer reality series Big Brother earlier than expected.

The show could air as early as February. CBS has already started to quietly cast the upcoming season of the show. Executive producer Allison Grodner is also working on a twist, where a group of strangers will have to live in the house for three months.

There is some talk that the next edition of Big Brother might use celebrities instead of ordinary people. If the strike lasts for a prolonged amount of time, this very well might become a reality in itself.
