Oblivion star Andrea Riseborough has joined the growing cast of the comedy Birdman for director Alejandro González Iñárritu.

The story follows the comeback attempt of a has-been actor (Michael Keaton) who previously portrayed an iconic superhero. Over a three-day period, he attempts to pull off a Broadway adaptation of a Raymond Carver story, a production that may all but crumble, thanks to his egotistical lead actor (Edward Norton). Andrea Riseborough is playing Jane, but nothing further was released in regards to the character. Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, and Zach Galifianakis also star.

Alejandro González Iñárritu is directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo, and Nicolás Giacobone. John Lesher and Robert Graf are producing, with shooting expected to begin later this month.

Andrea Riseborough can next be seen in the crime thriller Welcome to the Punch (March 27), Disconnect (April 12), and Oblivion (April 19).
